Ultimate Dream Holiday

My ultimate dream holiday. Trying to cram in as much as possible.

2 nights Universal Hotel & visit Universal Parks
10 nights Villa or Disney Hotel ( whichever is cost effective )
3/4 nights Disney Dream Cruise

Im not asking for much am i. There are 6 of us. Its so hard to get prices when its so far in advance. Looking at October 2021, flights wont be released until December 2020. I've a quote for the villa, Universal cant get a quote, cruise for fall release dates are delayed.

My budget is about 14,000 euros including car hire, petrol/diesel, parking charges.

Need to convince the hubby.

We're currently planning our dream Disney trip for next September. We were planning on going the Asian parks but have decided to put that off for a few years. So instead we're going with:

5 nights in LA
3 night Disney cruise (already booked)
14 nights Animal Kingdom Lodge

Can't wait to get the rest booked and properly start planning.

What Disney Cruise did you book Rebecca? Were thinking Disney Dream, however we would need 2 staterooms so would bring the cost up. We stayed onsite once back in 2014 at OKW 1 bed with DDP. Those days are long gone now and to stay at AOA for 14 nights with paid DDP your talking approx 13,000 euros without flights which would be about 3,500.

We've gone with the Disney Dream. 17th September. Are your dates not released yet? Luckily there's only the two of us, so while it's expensive at least it's just us.

Were waiting for October 2021 and they are not released yet, they usually are at this stage going by the last few years.

Are you willing to go indirect? That will bring the flight costs down a lot.

Would renting DVC points be more cost effective than a villa or resort?

We’re doing something similar, but 4nts universal, 10nts Disney, then 4 Nts Bahamas On the dream. Although our costs will be higher, as were doing end of August / first week sept, our budget is looking horrible. For 2A 1C, Were looking at £1750 for universal With hotel and park tickets (though we are staying at RPR), £5000 for hotel, park tickets and DDP Disney, £3000 flights and £2000 for a Cat 8a with a 10% placeholder For the cruise.

This is exciting to read, I'm thinking of doing something similar next year as we had to cancel this July. Hoping for 10 days disney, 3 night disney cruise, 4 nights at universal and maybe a few nights somewhere on International Drive just to have a nosey round as we've never explored any further than Disney or Universal before. Completely new to cruises though so need to get some research in before I look to book.

Wow! I feel very envious of those planning to do a Disney Dream cruise. We went on one 3 years ago and it was amaaaaaazing.

Good luck with your planning everyone, we all need something to look forward to.

Might be tight with €14k. Mad to say.
Disney Dream will prob cost the best part of €5/€6k for the 2 cabins.
You would get it cheaper on RC. Check out their water park island Coco Cay in the Bahamas. It is amazing! We have been fortunate to have done both but we all prefer RC. In saying the dd was 7 when we did the Disney dream and she loved it.

Indirect flights will def save you money. Also a villa will be cheaper than onsite.

Good luck persuading hubbie. Hope you get there x
