Talking 2nd trip planning - Condo accomodation

I'm slowly convincing dh that we can plan our 2nd trip with ds 13 and 10. Our last trip in 2016 we had a villa with other family members in Davenport on the 27 and we found the traffic and journey times to WDW well over an hour. This time our wish list is to be as close as possible to parks in a condo. We considered staying in site but would prefer a bit more space and SC facilities. We are tied to school holidays so it will either be April or October. I'm after some Dibbers suggestions for condo resorts that reduce travel times for us. So please recommend closest condo resorts to WDW. Thanks in advance

Windsor Hills have 2 & 3 bedroom condos. It takes 10 minuted to get to AK, all other parks are further. You could also look at Wyndham Bonnet Creek which is situated near CBR.

mystic dunes which is next to windsor hills, set on a golf course and has 3 or 4 pools for days away from the parks.

There are also some condos around Lake Buena Vista that are pretty close to the parks. We've stayed at Grand Beach, Cypress Pointe and Grande Villas.

If you fancied it, you could walk from the last two to Disney Springs. About a 30-40 min walk.

We love the Blue Heron Beach Resort which is near LBV you can get 2 bed condo which also has bunk beds in a little alcove. Great location for the parks, you need a car really. Lovely views of sunrise over a lake on side and fireworks at night the other. You get either a long double balcony or two balconies one each side in a corner room. We are going back in August. They have recently introduced resort fee which does need paying when you get there. (I wish they would just hide that in the price)

Worldquest Resort is very close to Disney entrance. Also have a look @ Encantada or Regal Oaks both on HW192.

We like Blue Heron too. One of the advantages is that the car park is on the ground floor(direct life access to your condo floor) so the car is in shade & out of the rain!
Here’s a photo taken from the top floor balcony: it’s about 1/3 of the total view:
