Virgin Holidays - What’s app - What do I do ?

Hi guys
So thanks to Snow White I have the what’s app number for virgin holidays but .. showing my old age here .. I’ve never done what’s app
Anyone who has used this to get through did you text or do you call ...

You just text the number, it will ask you some questions to respond to, then a customer service representative will text you back later

They don’t respond very quickly! You get an automated response to your message and then wait for a response.

I didn't get any response to my message.

So I got a response saying hold tight for dates after October 1st ... problem is our holiday is August (which I did say on the message). I’ve replied and am waiting for another response.

Out of interest did you get sorted JediMum; I’ve just WhatsApp them this morning after making the rookie mistake of trying Flying Club and Virgin Atlantic numbers first!

They got back to me on what's app after a couple of days. Once the conversation started refund sorted quickly. Just keep an eye on your phone for when the conversation with an operator starts.
Very helpful and email confirming cancellation received within the hour.

After being fobbed off with the standard "we are dealing with bookings in order" replies I'd previously received, I got a bit more stroppy with them last night. And got a reply this morning within about 10 hours. Admittedly, this reply was asking me to provide the lead passenger name and DoB so that they can look at the booking for me, but that's an improvement on the previous brush-off replies.
