Universal hotels in nov worth it with family of 6 but kids aged 3,5,11,16

I've heard so many good reports on staying at universal but we r planning our trip for 2015 and plan to visit 1st week nov. I know the express passes are brill but with having little ones I wonder do we need to stay on site. What are your thoughts pls

Crowd levels should be pretty low for that week so I'm not sure you would need express passes.

Something else you would need to consider is the maximum occupancy in a Universal Hotel. To accommodate a family of 6 you would need 2 rooms (max occupancy is 5).

In your circumstances it would probably be cheaper to buy the express passes rather than get them "free" with a hotel stay. Given the probable crowd levels you should be ok without them.
