Can anyone recommend a hotel on I-drive?

Hi`yall

we are a family of 4, 2 x kids 12 and 9, stayed in a villa last year at Davenport, location for wildlife (gators, terrapins, etc) was awesome, but felt a bit detached from the hustle and bustle and had to fight through traffic to get to parks, we felt as though we spent too much time driving. Also don`t want to do chores like cleaning the pool, tidying up, cooking, food shopping etc.

So this time we want to stay in a hotel on I drive, will still have a car for exploring and getting about, but want to be able to experience I Drive a bit more ie the restaurants the entertainment etc and do a bit less of the parks, also will do a night or two in a universal hotel. We would like to base ourselves in a hotel with pool, and near to everything, we are not doing Disney this time, we really enjoyed the water parks and Sea World and Universal.

Any ideas on hotels from those that have done similar?

thanks in advance

Doubletree at seaworld. Here now and its our 3rd time in this hotel. Three lovely pools and near enough to restaurants etc. You also get quick queue at seaworld while staying here.

Look for suite type hotel. I suspect after being used to a villa you wont like the idea of all being in 1 room with two double beds?
