it''s fairly understandable, as you're supposed to vacate the room by 11am, so your room key is deactivated at that time, and may no longer open doors

but a quick trip to front desk and a nice pretty please will do the trick

it's like express passes, they don't just stop when you check out

If you’re not sure, email them. We did this prior to arrival and it gave us confidence that we were ok to use it on checkout day.

We have stayed at RPR club level twice.

Officially we were told that access to the lounge was from 3pm (ie just as food stops being served for a bit) on the day you check in until 3pm on the day you check out.

Unofficially we were in at 2pm (eating and drinking) waiting for our room to be ready which after many phone calls from conceirge was finally available at 6pm. They said rooms are ready from 4pm not at 4pm but reading between the lines I think they had issues with staff numbers that day. We ended up on the 6th floor which was fine.

*Top tip if you do end up on floor 6 rather than 7 where the club lounge is don't bother waiting for the lift, there is a back staircase you can access to walk up to 7. You will need to bip your keycard. We left our room at the same time as an American family, they went one way to the lift, we went the other way to the stairs. 5 minutes after we were in the club lounge they came in. The lovely man asked me how on earth we had achieved beating them to the lounge.
