Received a credit (not refund) for March a few weeks back.
BT told me to contact them again about April.
This was before Sky Pause was announced.

BT are now difficult to contact directly.
Possibly they have a call centre in India ? If so it will have closed with no home working option.

I'm going to keep trying by phone as everything else BT do is useless.

I wouldn't normally cancel a direct debit and certainly not suggesting anybody should, but I'm not paying for BT Sport and HD (ridiculous rip off anyway, as is Sky HD tbf) whilst there is no sport.

Exactly what I am thinking, if I cancel surely they would contact me?

My Bt sports wasn’t paused but have got a credit for that particular month.
When I was speaking to them it seemed that it depends on what package you have.

If you are on the new packages you can change once every 30 days- this is what I’m on and I will be able to remove the sports next month.

I assume that if I were viewing it on a sky box then as that’s a different process.

It’s all unprecedented. I was glad to get my one month refund and then have to call back. Was better than my gym membership that cost us £70 for the month that I cannot get back!

I work for BT business (not residential so cant help with tv packages) but right now every department is under pressure to keep key worker businesses up and running, some call centres are closed too or running at low staff so please be patient that your query will be resolved but its not priority!

I believe an ‘offer’ or option will be announced very soon, hopefully easy to take up the option once announced

Good point about variable BT packages.

Mine is paid directly to BT for access via Sky. One of the older type contracts.

I think next time I'll pay for MotoGP on the MotoGP website instead.

For a communications company BT are not very good at communications for their subscribers.
