Holiday essentials for a split stay
Although it’s still quite a while until our holidays I need to start buying bits and bobs now. Help spread the cost. What’s on your packing list? We wont have a car the first five days so we won’t be heading off for a Walmart trip until we are in the villa. We have five nights on site initially, never stayed on site before. Hopefully the four of us in one room won’t be a disaster.

Packing cubes, this way you just unpack a few little cubes for your days onsite and leave the cases fully packed and stored out of the way while 4 of you are in one room. If you are using DME to get from the airport to the room then it is tricky to pop out for any essentials at a reasonable price so just accept that things will cost more than you would ideally like to pay and enjoy the convenience of being in the bubble. Is there anything you specifically consider essentials? You can often get things delivered to the hotel and held for you if there are some things that you really need straight away.

Two extension leads and two US adaptors to spread across the room between the four of you.

I have bought packing cubes for the first time for next year. You need to be a bit more organised for a split stay, last year we was rummaging around trying to find stuff lol
I take my straighteners, US plug adapters, shampoo, conditioner & shower gel, deodorant, nail file & polish, medicine (paracetamol & ibuprofen, plasters etc), snack bars. I take loads to be honest. You can buy them at the Disney stores onsite, they have a wide range of stock but you do pay a premium. For me, I don’t want to waste holiday time shopping for boring stuff lol so I would rather take it with me. |

We do Road Trips so live out of bags, I always use 5 gallon zip lock bags works fine for us.
could you not get a taxi to the closest Walmart? |

Definitely packing cubes and if you can afford it one colour per person. That way you just remove the cube and put it in a drawer or in our case (we stayed at POR) we just pulled a case out from under the bed, and remove clothes from packing cube, put case back. You can fit 2 large Tripp cases under each bed in POR, so I assume you can do the same for POFQ.
I wrapped a bit of paper masking tape round the handle so I could write on what was in the packing cube, you can either do -shorts -tops -underwear -sleepwear -swimwear or a few days worth of clothing per cube. If you need food for the room we just used Uber to take us to the store. Extension lead with adaptor, mini bottle of washing up liquid and a sponge to wash out refillable mugs, we have large nylon laundry bags for dirty clothes, carabiner clips for clipping caps to bags or cups to bags, pegs for hanging clothes either on the retractable line or we take cheap plastic hangers and peg stuff to those.
