Universal Resort Club Level question

In our September trip this year we are thinking of staying at either Hard Rock hotel or RPR/PB for one night at Club Level, my question is do you get two days access to the club lounge or one day, how does it work?

like any hotel perks, you get access to the lounge as soon as you've checked in (even if your room is not ready, so you may check in at silly o'clock which means around 6:30am)
your hotel perks end at midnight following your check out

so like express passes, 1 night = 2 days

OK that's great, I was hoping this was the case.

We didn't find this when we stayed one night at Portofino Bay... we used the lounge for all the first day but could only use it for breakfast the next day. Once it got to 11.00am we were not allowed in.

We used the lounge at RPR and HRH for breakfast on both days. We also still had access at 2pm the following day, which we did not expect.

We were at RPR in August. Whilst we checked out at 0800, we were still using the club lounge up until 1700 when I collected our hire car from nearby and picked up the family from the hotel.

I emailed Portofino ahead of our stay and they confirmed that the club lounge would be available to us until we left on check out day - even if that was late as we were thinking about staying there the night before leaving for our flight.

We have found that our access to the club room was stopped at lunchtime - ish but when we asked the front desk to reinstate it they did.

They must do things differently at PBH because we asked for and were given access to the lounge to 5pm on our checkout day last August and they happily gave it to us. Our justification was that our flight was delayed due to the hurricane so not sure if that made a difference.

Always worth asking.
