Mobile What to do with luggage on last day?

Our flight home is 9.30pm and we are staying in a villa so really not sure what to do with the luggage on our last day. Ideally we would like to get a late check out but the owners (quite understandably) can't let us know about this until much nearer the time.

Is there such a place as a secure left luggage type of place that we could use? We have a Rav 4 car booked and I imagine we will need to make use of the back seat for some of our bags so wouldn't take the risk of leaving them in the car whilst we went somewhere.

What do you all do? I'm considering contacting the villa owner to add on an extra night so we don't have to worry about it.

Not done a villa before so always had the luxury of bell services previously.

I booked an extra night last time we went. They may let you add one at a reduced rate, worth asking the question

We always try to book an extra night, so we can stay in the villa until time to go to the airport. This gives an opportunity to do last minute shopping in the morning, have lunch, then get freshened up and changed in the afternoon. The extra cost is worth the benefit of a relaxing final day.

We always book an extra night too! Saves so much hassle and means you can chill by the pool and shower prior to leaving

We're not unfortunately so it's not an option. We fly with Aer Lingus this time.

I have just emailed the villa owners to see if they can accommodate us extending our stay as the extra day in the villa sounds very appealing.

We have never booked a late checkout with the villa, we always just stick the bags in the boot of the car and then spend the afternoon in a waterpark. That we we can have a shower before the flight home too! Always feels like we have made the most of the last day by driving from the waterpark straight to the airport.

If you don't want to leave luggage in car then I think booking the extra night makes sense.

We leave it in the car we do have a flight blanket that is black that we cover anything in the cabin with
.
if we have valuables that we need to leave in the car put them in this and either lock it to the spare wheel if inside the boot or to a bar under a seat. I am sure this woudl not stop the blokes who did the brinks matt but the opportunist will be put off.
