6 Adults & Free Dining

Hi Guys
Hoping you can help me find the cheapest option as my heads swimming! We are a party of 6 adults planning to go next May. I have been looking at AoA suites, as that layout would be ok. I have looked at cabins at FW, but four in one room wont really work. Am I right in thinking AoA doesnt usually offer free dining? I know its never guaranteed anyway, but we had this before and would like it again. What the cheapest resort where we might qualify for free dining? thanks in advance!

It’s usually free Quick Service dining in the moderates, regular in the deluxe. The value resorts (of which AoA is one) sometimes offer free breakfast- in practice I think this is one quick service credit per day for everyone in your party.

Art of Animation doesn’t tend to offer the feee dining deal you are correct. One of the other value resorts also has Family Suites and they may have included free breakfast but I’m not sure about that. However. For 6 adults I’d say you need two bathrooms so would be looking at two rooms or a two bed DVC villa.

You can book them in the same way as the other hotels via Virgin etc. or Disney direct (limited selection usually) or you can rent DVC points and have more choice. Virgin etc. Usually list Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, and a few others. Villa is probably an inaccurate name as they are actually apartments. We’ve stayed in OKW and loved it - booked through Virgin Holidays.

We booked SSR 2 bedroom sleeps 9, we are 5 adults 2 children so slightly different set up, but me and DH are in the King Room, DD, SIL & 2 GD's in the other bedroom and DS in the living room, originally we had 2 rooms at POFQ on free QSP, but changed to SSR as it was DDP and an extra £500 which if we had upgraded to DDP from POFQ would have be more. More room the only thing is you can only book DVC at 330days after the check out date which is why we booked POFQ originally. Best thing we found is youtube videos to help with rooms gives you a good idea of the layout of each resort. Also OKW and SSR usually have a discount as well as the free dining its just waiting for the availability which was why we had to book POFQ first as would have been happy staying there if SSR had not become available.
