Televisions at Disney Beach Club

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody has stayed at the BC recently and would be able to confirm the type of TV that is in the standard rooms? Looking at pictures some seem to be the old smaller style with wide black surround but another pic I saw seemed to have the larger 50in screen (we had one of these in POFQ last year and loved the screen size)?

I was there in the summer and we had the larger flat screen TV

Many thanks for the update, tried looking at room walkthroughs but there aren’t too many on youtube and what is on there seems to show different rooms, just looked at videos of 2 different standard garden view rooms taken last year but one seems smaller than the other with a different room set up, one shows new style tv, other does not show Tv at all

Some of the room walkthroughs seem to have a larger tv unit with a full wood surround around the TV

Back a few weeks ago and I can confirm they are Samsung TVs with Smartview. We streamed our phone to the TV for Netflix, NowTV etc.

Although this was in between moving rooms and endless complaints about the standard of the rooms, broken beds and wireless issues.

We were there two weeks ago in a standard room garden view. We had a Samsung smart TV, I reckon 55”. No issues with the TV although the WiFi was fairly unreliable.

By any chance, were you on floor 4, away from reception direction? Obviously still having issues from the few weeks prior when we were there.

Did I hear that the Wi-fi was currently being upgraded a the Beach Club or was that Club level rooms only?
