Have been to many places near and far, but nothing beats walking down the Paisley road west and Ibrox park comes into view.

The only place that calls me back is Chelmsford, where my “real” life is !
I’ve spent many happy holidays in Italy and Florida especially, and I’d be a happy woman if these were the only 2 places I could ever visit again. |

For me the place i will, always call me home is where DH and the kids are some time spent as a child of a serving father ( how mum packed us up and set us down and it was home )
Or our home in Florida somewhere we all step back and reconnect no matter how hard things are at home and that's us and our grown up boys Other than that my brothers home in France or my sisters in the Canarys now that mum and dad aren't here |

The New Forest for me. Somewhere we also hope to move to if the third runway happens as our house will be knocked down!

Melbourne where I used to live & Sydney where I married my late husband. But too far & too expensive to go on a regular basis so makes it even more desirable.

wouldnt go so far as saying it calls at my heart
but the Northumberland coast @Bamburgh/Seahouses, park at Bamburgh onto the beach by the castle & walk down the beach @3 miles to Seahouses, fish & chips walk back. even in the height of summer next to no one else there on the beach... tremendous Also Newcastle specifically down by the river walk along to ouseburn for a couple of pints or walking up St Andrews St turn the corner at the Chinese Arch & see St James Park standing on the hill in front of you. Even now its a depressing place to be with the owner etc etc etc its the glue that keeps me & my schoolmates together.. @40 years we have went every other week, met up , went to the match.. It will always be WDW for me...I haven’t been since 2015 due to a Wedding/baby/new house and won’t be going for a few years yet as I’m studying at University and don’t want to go in the Summer holidays but we’ll definitely be back in the next few years and I can’t wait 😊
In the meantime we’ve loads of lovely city breaks booked and also hoping for a week in Dubai at some point. |
