Mobile Transfers

Hi all we go to New York in February and land at JFK airport.
What would you all recommend to transfer from the airport to accommodation which is by Central Park.

Thanks.

Airtrain and subway is the cheapest and fastest but depends on your party and luggage.

Other than that as mention go to the official taxi queue (do not get one from anywhere else) and the organiser there will sort a Yellow can for you.

Having done the yellow cab once, even very late in the evening, I would personally do the train every time as it is so much quicker.

Hijacking a bit - are there cabs that fit 5 people?

I can arrange a Blacklane transfer who I've used before and is quite nice, but a little pricey.

We are going in February and will need a cab for 5 people: 2 Ad, DS 16, DS 13 and DD 10. Do they have them? Was thinking of booking a private transfer otherwise.

Not sure, that's why I was asking!

I did try and find out but it seems that whilst the "may", there is no guarantee of there being one.

I think I'll wait till black friday then book a transfer. Got a fairly good deal last time doing that IIRC.
