Whats on your bedside table?

My bedside cabinet top is always a mess. There a lamp, lipsyl, hankie, tv remote, my phone, my headphones, my medication, a room spray, a glass of water and once I've finished typing this my iPad 😊

I have a cut glass dressing table tray and dish for rings which was my grandmothers. Luckily I have a pull out tray in my bedside table which hides the clutter- glasses, coaster, charger, kindle, tissues, pen.
I have a lamp which I use. Personally I would never have a candle because of the danger of falling asleep with it lit.

How do you manage without a lamp? I wouldn’t want to walk through a dark bedroom to get into bed at night?

We have wall mounted lamps, but I need somewhere to put my phone / watch and glasses at night.

I have in the past had the phone charger in the drawer but I still had the phone on top. I like to be able to check the time.

We have small mirror base lamps on both our bedside cabinets, then mine just has a coaster and my book. DH has a dab radio and his book.
I've been looking at bedside tables too as we're going to do the bedroom - we've ordered new bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and tallboy and as the bed is bigger than the one we have I'm looking for smaller tables rather than drawer cabinets. Still need to look for carpet, wallpaper (and men to do them!), mattress, curtains and bedding

Too much. A lamp, an alexa, apple watch charger, a small pot with my glasses in and a little stand for my tablet and my water bottle.
