Does anyone call to make their ADRS?

Has anybody called to make their ADRs, if so have you found this successful?

What time did you call and what number did you use?

I called last year because the website wasn't working. I called at midday after spending an hour trying to make them online and booked my entire list successfully. I would only call if online wasn't working though

Found it easier to get the ADRs we wanted

Think I'm going to call for mine this year - we only want two reservations but they're on Christmas Day. I'll be using 0800 1690 730.

I've only phoned once before and that was to book Pirates League for DS, it was quite a few years ago but I remember being on the phone for ages!

I just tested V&A for the last available date before my window opens... no availability for 2 but availability for a table of 4?! What's that all about? 😳

Book the 4 then ring them and change it to 2
I've had to do that with chef de France availability for 5 for every date and time except the one I wanted so I ended up booking the perfect time for 6. Madness.
