Typhoon Lagoon but not doing Disney?
Hi there
There are so many good ideas on here that I hope someone can help! We love Typhoon Lagoon but are not doing Disney this time. We were hoping that the waterpark days would be satisfied with Volcano Bay and Aquatica but the VB reviews don't sound so great and I'm not sure if I can be bothered with the hassles on holiday. So our dilemma - how can we go to Typhoon Lagoon the cheapest way possible? It's about $60 each on the gate for a day pass and an annual pass is about $120 each so if we went twice over the holidays it would be worth it - BUT we can't really afford $480 on waterpark tickets Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Not sure this helps you specifically, but... in August last year we had universal tickets, didn't do Disney at all but since we love their water parks, we bought the annual pass. Fast forward to this year we are heading out in a few days, not doing parks at all but still have the water park pass so Intend to go most days. bargain!

Unfortunately, your cheapest option is the 1 day waterpark ticket for around $60 (seasonal - i.e. not summer) or $66 (regular - covers summer period) per adult. Based on your countdown it'll be the higher price.
Or, as you say, there's the annual pass for $133 if you want to visit more than twice. Anything else will be more expensive if all you want to do is visit Typhoon Lagoon. Look at it this way, the above is cheaper than a 1 day ticket to one of the theme parks. And $480 is about the price of a 14 day theme park ticket for just one person. You'll be getting access for a whole year for 4 people for the same price. Bargain?
