Sopping mall worth a visit

We are staying in a lovely area called englewood nr port charlotte. We have never been this far south and a little bit lost!

We would like to visit a mall...Yankee candle, Oakley etc where would you recommend?

Lots of Malls around but for a huge outlet your best bet is Ellenton Mall. There are a few Rotunda villa owners here on The Dibb who will have loads of info on the best Malls around!

Thank you! My stepdaughter is getting married in Orlando in 2 weeks and then we're off down to Rotonda. Be sure to post plenty of pictures x

Port Charlotte Mall has a Yankee Candle shop. There is also a Macys, Dillard's & Pennys plus lots of other smaller shops.

UTC at Sarasota (45min drive) has wide range of upmarket shops so great for a shopping spree. There is even a Cheesecake Factory there.

Ellenton Outlet Mall is another 5 mins north of UTC. If you go to the information booth at the food court and donate $10 towards breast cancer research you can get a 25% discount coupon which is valid for most stores till 31st May. I saved an additional $60 on a Marc Jacobs bag at Saks 😜

Fort Myers is 1hours drive south of Rotonda and has Coconut Point shopping mall with all the usual stores including an Apple Store. There is an outlet mall there too.

If you are going to drive as far south as the Coconut Mall then you may as well stop off at the Miromar Outlets on the opposite side of I75.
