We went last night. What an experience. Never seen so many food venues in a sports ground before! very organised parking and very easy to get out of the venue after due to very good marshalling. Thoroughly recommend.

Tropicana Field is huge,it has 3 levels and each level has shops and food outlets,we went in June and watched the rays beat the white sox,a game can last anything from 2 to 5 hours.
We spent the morning in St Petersburg,than after the game spent the night in a hotel in St Pete's beach,you will love it. After the game the kids can meet the team and run the bases. There is a video from 2011 in my trip reports below and one from this year too.

We're going to this game as DS James, 18 wanted to go. We haven't been before and are really excited, although have no idea what to expect. We're in section 110, row HH
