St Pete's hotels - Tradewinds?

Hi,
We are planning on staying at St Pete's for a week/10 days next year. We normally go down to Siesta Key but my dh wants to stay at St pete's to go to the baseball etc. My questions is has anyone stayed at Tradewinds Island Grand/Guy Harvey and are they worth the money? They are coming our the same price as our club level room at Universal? Any other good hotels in St Petes - we have 3 kids who will be 7,11 and 18.

Yes we stayed there is 2008, Tradewinds Grand Resort. The hotel was nice, lovely pools and right on the beach, they have paddle boats and other entertainment, can't recall right now. The rooms were great and they had a lovely café 'hut' for snacks and light meals. The main restaurant food was expensive and not very good, but they have a pizza hut take way too and lots of great restaurants right on the beach in the local area (Crabby Bill's within walking distance). We had lots of fun there for our 5 days.

I'd be happy to go back there if the price was right.
