I go next week, in fact a week today, so can give more practical thoughts when I get back in a couple of weeks.

My trip is 2 days at the Hilton Tokyo Bay for 2 days at Disney, then moving to Shibuya for the rest of the holiday, bar the final night we wanted to try the new Muji hotel in Ginza.

Our trip is very much Tokyo centric, with a day trip to Kyoto on the bullet train.

My YT channels to view have been:

TDR Explorer
L&R Dreaming they have had 2 Tokyo Disney / Japan trips
thisNatasha she is a regular visitor to Japan and as well as Tokyo Disney does the city and other parts of Japan too.

Oh yes, the queues... Can be really long. There was also a mad stampede for FPs for Toy Story Midway Mania when I was there. Apparently, because a lot of the guests are locals, they are happy to queue and camp out for parades and all.

That being said, the Japanese guests are really incredibly polite and well behaved in queues. And I love that they sit down on the ground for parades - means that people behind still get a very good view of the parade!

I would argue that 2 days can be long enough, just so long as you plan carefully and stay from park opening to close. I spent a full day at Disneyland and a full day at DisneySea last June, and whilst I do wish I'd had a bit more time there (I could happily spend a whole year at that resort!), we managed to fit in everything we wanted to do, see and eat!

Can I join in? Hoping to go to Japan in 2021. Ive seen a tour that takes in Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and Tokyo so want to add a few days at the end of the tour to visit Disneyland and Disneysea. I see someone posted about after 6pm tickets - are they available for both parks as would be moving hotel (from Shinjuku area out to near the parks) in the morning so that would give us an evening extra. Is that ticket expensive?

Thanks

Am here now and the after 6pm ticket is available everywhere tickets are sold. However, on super busy days they can stop selling or accepting ticket that is not dated for a specific day. This happens rarely but does happen.

We stayed at Partner Hotel Hilton Tokyo Bay and all tickets they sell guarantee entry, think our after 6 ticket worked out about 26
