Mobile Pre-teen appropriate wear Dubai

Just after some advice from anyone who’s been please! I’m taking my dd in a few weeks (she will have just turned 11) and wondering if she has to cover shoulders and knees or is that just for adults? Although she is 11 she looks more like a 9 year old, any insight would be great, thanks 😊

My daughter is older than yours but the advice we had was wear regular holiday outfits in resort and cover shoulders and knees when out and about. However, we did a walking tour in Old Dubai and me and DD followed those rules but another lady on the tour had above the knee shorts and a strappy vest top and had no problems.
I think if you were visiting a mosque you'd need to cover up (to be respectful) but an 11 year old would be fine anywhere else in Dubai in normal child clothing.

I know there are some real Dubai experts on here who will be able to advise you also.

She will be ok in resorts, water parks etc. I’d always recommend covering shoulders, knees etc in public places as per PP but many don’t.
It will be really hot in July so make sure you plan your days well
