Heatwave; anybody?

Dibbers, how's your weather? Outskirts of Durham (1k above sea level, micro-climate), 11 degrees, heating on, overcast, misty/foggy with rain... no sun seen here for days. Looking canny for the weekend in Durham itself, fingers crossed for the forecast 21 degrees, as we're having a knees up for ma's 90th at brother's

Chris. You certainly do experience some strange weather where you live. No wonder you escape every Winter.

66 here today. Had to have the air con on in the car though as it felt stuffy.

22 degrees here now, mid Essex. Very muggy too! We had heavy rain this morning, which didn’t clear the air.

24 in London with 73% humidity. Now worried about going to Florida in August - can it be worse than the tube on a day like this? I think it can.

The tube was red hot last night at around 6pm, must of been 35'c down at Liverpool Street platform.

DH travels from Liverpool Street and came home complaining yesterday. His office has just gone casual but he was still wearing his suit, he finally ditched it today.

Chilly, dark and drizzly here in South Wales. Came home from Croatia on Sunday where the weather was hot and sunny around 32°. Struggling to get the holiday washing done but hear we are having a one day heatwave on Friday 😀

Rained most of the morning until early afternoon. Desperate for some sun!
