Depends on the cost. And what is given for free when onsite. But possibly.
I dont think people skipping their fp makes any real difference. Disney will have some pretty solid data on the % of no shows and will allocate tickets accordingly issuing more than the number they actually want through the gate. If every person turned up regularly they would drop the number of fp they issue and the same numbers would still be getting on via a fp. |

Nope - never would. Having said that I do feel that Universal have a great system with Express pass being included in the Deluxe hotels, so while you are paying for them in the cost of your hotels, it is a great extra to have. With Disney having so many more hotel rooms I can't see this working at WDW though.
I actually like the Fastpass + system - it seems to work well for us, and travelling slightly off peak we never have an issue getting them as long as we are timely at the 60 day window.

I certainly won't be paying for fast passes! A Disney holiday is expensive enough without all these extra costs.

What they’ll likely do according to Marni is let you have less for free, or only lower tiers, could be linked to standard of accommodation. Rest you pay for. I can’t help thinking shifting more of HWS attractions to tier 1 is paving the way for it.

If I was going for a couple of days, I would probably pay, but if you are going for 10 days - 2 weeks, with a bit of planning you can get on anything you want to anyway in my opinion.
We usually do 11-12 days at Disney and 3 days at Universal, and for the Universal trip we stay at Royal Loews which gives us "free" fast passes, as I don't want to spend my 3 days in queues! |

Yes - Definitely.
We booked a club room at Disney for the that very reasons over Xmas last year. I have to say though 6 FastPasses a day is a bit much for our touring style and we didn't do it everyday BUT being able to book 90 days in advance and get everything you want at the times you want in the parks you want was invaluable for us and would do it again in a heart beat x |
