A sparkling experience

Hi All,

I've been trying, to no avail, to pre book A sparkling experience for my stay in DLP next month. It seems like it's a dark art trying to book it and I've seen from other's posts that it's not just me who has these issues.

I really want to book it as it's special occasion. If I leave it until I arrive and book for the same night will I be ok? Or does it tend to book up pretty quick?

All help appreciated

You can email the Disneyland Hotel (I booked it through the concierge there a few years back). However, they really weren't expecting people to book in advance - it took me ages to get the info out of them, and I had to send them a photocopy of my bank card and all sorts of nonsense.

The second time we did it, it was completely on a whim one night. We saw the board in the lobby and thought 'oooh, let's do it' so we booked then and there.

I seriously doubt it will be overbooked.

There is another thread in this forum with more information. You can book it two months in advance, this is at least the information I got via mail last month! However, as Gill mentioned, I don't think it will be overbooked anytime. I just know that there will be some special restaurant thing going on in the Founders Club for a month or so, I do not remember the name or the dates, but if it's overlapping with your stay, they might not offer the Sparkling Experience to focus on this event, but you can find out by mailing the Disneyland Hotel.

Yeah, I didn't get anywhere. They bounced me between them and the hotel. I actually had to tell the advisor on the phone what A Sparkling Experience was as they had never heard of it.

I will try emailing the hotel and see what happens.

The dining reservation number won’t help. Best to contact the DLH direct.

Does anybody have the email address for DLH? I can't seem to find one. Unless I'm missing something

So, I've just emailed the hotel and they replied saying that they can't guarantee that "A Sparkling Experience" will still exist at the end of April as it is a limited time experience.

Hmmm. I wouldn't worry about that. Before the 25th anniversary it was called 'Dream to live' (as it tied in with a viewing of Dreams) and was the same thing.

The 25th anniversary comes to an end in April, so it may be they repackage it as something else.

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it. Take enough funds with you so that you can book it when you get there if it's available.

If not, you could still have an amazing dinner in California Grill, which would be an event in itself. And you could still have cocktails in the Fantasia Bar.
