Aircraft change Virgin SFO-LHR August

Just posting this in case it affects any of you. Virgin have replaced the scheduled Dreamliner with an A340-600 on our flight home 22nd August. I’m not sure wether several flights are affected or if it’s just a one off? But if you have been a total geek like me and carefully researched and chosen your seats, you might want to check your booking.
We are flying upper class for the first time ever and I researched the best seats to go for. It turns out that the seat numbers I’d chosen on the Dreamliner wouldn’t have been such a great choice on the A340. Luckily I’ve managed to change them but I would have been really disappointed if I hadn’t

Just checked our flights and we still seem to be on the dreamliner. Good job you noticed for yours.

Checked ours and still on Dreamliner, fingers crossed it stays that way as I really like the Dreamliner
