I'm seeing £492 on Skyscanner with Virgin and £418 with Norwegian for your dates You can get Virgin down a bit cheaper £461 if you leave from Gatwick but return to Heathrow.

We've never paid more than £300 for May. We wait for the Thomson (now TUI) prices to come down which happens from March for the following 8-9 weeks on a rolling basis. We usually end up paying about £265+£70 for baggage. This year prices came down to £195. We are booked for 1st June for 2 weeks for next year and will be waiting until April/May to book these. I guess with it being for a wedding you may not want to wait so long to book?
Don't forget to keep checking Virgin Holidays for a FlyDrive price - this has worked out cheaper for us before and you'll get a 7% saving if you are a flying club member. You don't have to pick the car up if you don't want it. Last time we booked this, our flights were £497 on the VA site, but we got the FlyDrive for £385 each - same flights and an intermediate SUV, we bought a standalone insurance instead of using Virgin. The price fluctuations seem to be very random on the VH site and don't always drop because of a sale, we just got lucky one day!

Getting Excited

We booked in mid September for the following May and paid £377 pp including baggage direct from Manchester to MCO. We booked through netflights. Could have got it cheaper if we had waited until last minute but we wanted it booked.
