Mobile Airport timings gatwick

Hi!

We are looking to book meet and greet parking at Gatwick but don't know what time to put to drop the car off on the morning of our flight.

Our flight is at 11am and we are staying at a local Travelodge the night before so was hoping to book breakfast there.

We are flying with BA so going to do twilight check in the night before but we've never done this before so don't really know how it works. Do you go straight to security on the morning of the flight? If so how early do we need to aim to be at the airport?

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks!

I always do Meet & Greet at Gatwick albeit we fly with Virgin but that makes no difference.

Staying in the PI opposite the North I park overnight in the multi storey.

If we are on the 11.20 flight (rare) I drive around the corner to the M & G place at circa 8.30am and then stroll into the terminal, through security as cases dropped off the night before. Tend to be in the terminal by 9.00am ish

Then just mooch around until we are called.

For the 1.00pm (normal for us) I do the same but drop the car at 9.30am

As we tend to fly UC and invariably have the later flight by choice we arrive early as we can use the lounge and get free breakfast.

Edit. If the M & G place for the South terminal is walking distance I would opt for an 8.15/8.30 drop off. Depends if you want duty free etc as that eats up time.

When we stay at the Travelodge we do Twilight checkin.
Pay for parking at the hotel for one night ( think about £7) then drive over on the morning which usually takes about 10 mins about two hours before take-off , drop the car and straight through security

Maple Manor (or whatever they are now called) regularly do discount codes that get posted by Dibbers so, if you don't need to book just yet, I would wait for a code to appear on this forum.

Edit: Just seen your countdown - I guess its getting pretty close to departure date so you might not want to hang around.

I always park in the long stay the night before, shuttle bus to the airport hotel. Not only is it usually cheaper than paying for the overnight parking at the hotel it means no messing around in the morning, more bed time!

You are late to the party for Meet & Greet but don't fret there are still some good deals around.

As above I use Maple Parking, sign up and get 10% off. Big presence at Gatwick.

My husband won't normally leave his keys but I've recently convinced him it's a much better option than struggling with all the luggage and 2 toddlers!

Will get maple parking booked thank you.

Sorry can't help. I wouldn't have a clue what Groupon is.

This is their website
