Star Wars no thank you

So just for conversation who not a Star Wars fan and who don’t really care about Star Wars. I know for every one person that don’t like. Star Wars there be Ten that do.

I hate it. I will have to visit the land due to the family but I will be the bag holder and snack eater sat on the benches

I love Star Wars. Always have ever since I was a little girl and I loved seeing the detail that has gone into creating Galaxy’s Edge whilst watching Tim’s video. I imagine that when thousands of people descend that a lot of that detail will be missed though which is a shame.

I'm not a fan and neither are the rest of the family! I'm not sure if we will visit that bit or not when we go, I'm hoping that the rest of the park will be there leaving us to enjoy the other parts! 🤞🤣

OP, you should have set a poll, it would have been quite interesting to see the results.

As for me, I grew up with Star Wars and will certainly be heading to Galaxy’s Edge when I can. The wife, not so much, but she’ll still want to check out the hype and appreciate all the effort and craftsmanship that will have gone in to the new land and the rides.

I love Star Wars as does my DH. I haven’t seen much of the Disneyland opening so far other than the merchandise. I cannot comprehend why an adult would want to spend $200 on a light sabre, what on earth are they going to do with it after the first five minutes.

I would like to see a bit more of the land itself not the merchandise but can’t find much.

I'm on the fence, for me its OK and I can take it or leave it. I have watched the films with the family but its my OH and daughter who are the mahooosive fans. They both have gone to all the midnight showings on film release which I am not interested enough in. Daughters rooms are all decked out in Star Wars memorabilia

Our daughter has not been on holiday with us for a few years now but she and her boyfriend (who is also a massive Star Wars fan) want to come with us next year specifically to do Galaxy Edge.

I’m not a fan, neither is DD. I will visit the new area and ride the rides when we are next there (if queues aren’t too long 😂 ) but it wouldn’t be a big attraction to us. My DH is more interested and didn’t come on our last trip, but wants to come when we return sometime to see GE.

We do love Star Tours though but barely know any characters. After our first trip to Disney in 2016 DD and I decided to try and watch the films to see if we enjoyed them more, but we saw a couple and gave up, it’s just not for us. However we did the same with Avatar after last year’s visit to Pandora and really enjoyed the film and are looking forward to the second one
