Transition to Grey

I had been dyeing my hair for over 35 years, gradually getting a lighter and lighter blond over the last few years. When I finally stopped doing it, the line was hardly noticeable.

Personally, having struggled with the growing the dye out I’d be loathe to start again.

Ignore my face... here is me at six months and then at about 18 months which is now.

It’s all about how YOU feel. I’m perfectly happy. I’m 60 and no longer have to worry about roots etc

Yours is a nice grey, mine is salt and pepper. I will try and take a picture. I think upon reflection i shouldn't have had it cut, but i am very inpatient

Don’t do semis. They aren’t very semi with grey hair. Try some temporary washes like the Superdrug ones.

I was mousey originally, then went blond and finally a lovely shade of red which my late mother loved.

When I lost all my hair through Chemo, I came back really white and curly so decided to go blonde again. I adore it.

No Grey for me, I will dye my hair forever now, but am tempted to go red again. x

I'm 55 and have never dyed my hair in my life. My hair is dark brown with streaks of grey and I'm quite happy for it to be totally grey.
