PCP - what options do I have?
I am almost 3 years into a 4 year pcp. This was taken out with a dealership but not through their own finance. As the car is about to come out of warranty, I’m unsure if I have any options to begin a new deal and end this one. Paying it off early isn’t a financial option, would the dealership be able to do anything?

I swapped out of a 3 year PCP after 19 months, as the car didn't suit our lifestyle anymore. It was just like trading any other car. They gave me a trade in price, which left me with some profit which I put down as a deposit on the new car. They paid off the old finance, set up the new finance and I drove away. The only spanner in the works would be if your car is not worth enough to settle the current finance.

Yes, sadly the SLC has gone We had to take Merlin, the dog, on numerous trips (including to France and back) for his Radiotherapy so we needed a car which was safe for him to travel in. Husband's car was on its last legs. So we got rid of both and got a GLC. It's not got the sex appeal of the SLC but I do really like it, its very comfortable, more economical and its absolutely ideal for the dogs - the only real downside is its black!
Husband has promised that once we get back to where we were, after all the vet bills, house works etc., we will get a second car and I can have another SLC.

Kate. Nice car, my neighbour had one but upgraded when the 2nd child was born and they needed more carrying capacity for two buggies.
Black! I have gone for black on this car as it's the predominant colour. Hard work! Enjoy the new motor. I have been following your dog posts. Fingers crossed.

Black was literally my last choice, but I needed an in stock car and they couldn't get me either of the blues (would have loved the brilliant blue, same as the SLC), grey or white. I don't like the red, and wouldn't have a silver car. Its constantly dirty, need to train my husband better
Thank you, touch wood he's doing really well.
