Heat Protector- straightners

Can anyone recommend a good heat protector for when using straightners? I use Paul Michell heat seal but this seems to be delisted. I have tried other brands in the past but found they left my hair feeling sticky afterwards. If it helps I've got very thick hair.

I use Wella shockwaves mousse that includes heat protection, I've always found the sprays leave a coating on my hair.

I use VO5 heat protector spray when I blow dry or straighten my hair.
It’s never felt sticky.

I love Lee Stafford protect spray. It's not the cheapest but often on 3 for 2 in boots, and it is light and makes my hair look good.

I use Tresemme Heat Defence Spray. I have really fine hair and find this doesn't go sticky or weigh my hair down and I have tried loads of different ones!

Its currently on half price in Boots if you wanted to give it a try.

I also use Tresemme spray at the moment, but the best product ever is Beauty Protector which is only available via Birchbox in the UK. Its the ultimate multi tasker and smells amazing.
