I have found exactly the same, my hair and skin tone suit one another far more than when I was colouring my hair. In fact, people have told me I look younger and I actually feel younger with the grey. It is certainly in much better condition and very soft and shiny. I use a silver shampoo and conditioner, nothing expensive, supermarket home brand. I have also found that I have changed the colour of my clothes and makeup other colours suit me now whereas they did not before. Best of all I am liberated from the stress of grey roots, hairdresser appointments and comments such as " you need your roots doing"

The last time I coloured it
Half way (ignore silly photo. It was he only one I could find that was halfway through) And now I do think I need lighter glasses now. They went with my darker hair. |

I've never coloured my hair ... I was 50 last Nov.
My mum always coloured her hair and I always thought it was just such a palaver... I'm useless painting walls so you can imagine the mess I'd make colouring my hair... id need to go to the hairdressers so I can't even imagine the cost and time... I do find that having greyer hair it needs a bit more 'managing' it...the bed head look doesn't look quite so appealing ... I'm lucky that my grey is salt and pepper all over so looks quite natural in fact people ask if I've had it 'done'... My friend used to tease me about my greying hair a few years back now she's the one fighting roots etc )) Keep going ladies it's so worth it and as other have said suits you more than you realise... You're all beautiful Xx Ff Xx |

I’ve never coloured my hair either and I’m 48. I have very dark hair with a few white hairs and definitely won’t start to colour it now. My mum passed away when she was 69 and still had brown hair with very few greys, so I must have inherited her genes.
My auntie had pure white hair, I’m hoping that that’s to colour that I eventually go 😀 |
