How to mirror iPad to smart tv ?
I want to be able to look at videos and photos I have took on my iPad on my smart tv but have no idea how to do it is it easy ? And can any one tell me how to do it please ?

When you swipe up from bottom of ipad , there should be a button for screen mirroring,

Thanks I have done that but it says searching for Apple TV then nothing ...it's not n Apple TV but a smart tv ? so unsure of what to do

Not an apple expert but can you buy an iPad to HDMI lead or my son has an adapter to plug his usb end into.

Also if your tv is Samsung or LG you can download a mirror app. Forgot DS has this now for our Samsung tv

Or you can buy the apple TV & use Airplay & not only mirror what's on the iPad but properly stream from your ipad to tv, movies, photo streaming ect.. not the cheapest way to be fair,

I haven’t figured out an easy way to do this. I believe the Samsung smart tv mirror only works with a Samsung phone. I do it by uploading my photos to Facebook to a private setting and then sending them to the tv, or movies uploaded to YouTube.
