Dumb techy question

I live in Spain. Can I get UK stations on internet Radio. Ie absolute radio. No DAB here

Yes, try downloading the Tune In radio app.

Yes Tunein is great for this, or if you have an amazon echo device you can get the channels as well. Some stations do have regional restrictions but I'm not aware of any UK ones doing this.

I basically want a radio thatbhe can turn off and off. No apps etc. He’s rubbish on the internet

I was going to say you could just go on a website like the following:

And then select the radio station you want to listen to. That should work on any PC, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet that's connected to the internet.

Or you could buy something like the following (it just happened to be the first Internet Radio that appeared on Amazon - I don't know how good it is):

You plug it in, connect it to your wi-fi, and can then search radio channels using the screen on the front and the remote control. It's basically like a mini computer with a preloaded internet radio app.

As amazon echo has tunein build in as stanard that is the simpliest way. just say "Alexa play absolute radio from tunein"

Alexa is not yet supported in Spain although planned to be introduced.
