Owners Locker

now my deed has finally been recorded I am looking at other things I was interested in one of which is an Owners Locker. Where as I may not go every year there are things I think we would find useful as a family that I don't particularly want to carry back and forth every time.

So I was wondering if anyone on here had an owners locker and what your thoughts on them were?

I had one for around 6 years and we loved it but last year we decided to not go back as our holiday was a nightmare but are returning this year for the last time. We stored clothes, kettle, washing powder, hairdryer, slippers lots if stuff. Well worth the money in our opinion.

I've had two lockers for years, saves loads of hassle dragging stuff backwards & forwards over the pond.

We have one and love it.

We bought a kettle, hairdryer, sharp knife with cover, set of cutlery, plates, 2 bowls and scissors from Walmart, also have Disney mugs, ponchos, pj’s, shorts, slippers, tops etc. The clothes we keep inside packing cubes, the ones that are flat when empty.

We’ve had our one since we bought DVC in 2008, wouldn’t be without it.

At $100+ a year I’ve not bothered personally but can see why it’s useful.

We got our first one within 18 months of buying into DVC, the second one about 2 years after that.

One is full of clothes, mostly mine. I keep my shorts, polos, nice shoes etc etc there and my Wife has a load of tops, bikinis, slippers etc. It weighs a ton!
Should I wish I could travel with a cabin bag as I have most of what I need permanently there.

The other locker is probably like everybody elses. Full set of silverware, wine glasses, bottle of vodka, plates and bowls, sharp knife, egg slicer, clock radio, loads of toiletries, bag of spare change, mugs for the pool, ponchos, Bold soap powder, etc etc

Money well spent.

We tend to travel really lightly so have never bothered, I can see they'd be useful for some but we've never felt like we really need one.

I am tempted to try it, but my husband doesn’t see the point. Is it something we can try out and cancel easily, we are heading out in October (although no flights booked as yet!) and plan to head back July next year.
