Best in Miami

Hi Everyone,

So after our two weeks at Disney we are driving to Miami via Busch gardens (two nights) and staying in Miami for five nights before flying back home.

We have absolutely no plans for the Miami portion of our trip.

What are everyone's must do's?

We are heading that way in May and plan to visit Little Havana, Wynwood Walls, Art Deco District, The Beaches (of course) and hopefully a night club before we are too old!

We only had one full day in Miami when we flew in there last year, but recommend checking out South Beach of an evening - lots of people, fast cars and loud music! Also visit the beach itself during the day, very expensive to rent beds/umbrellas though and the beach itself is nice but not as good as some on West Coast.

Also do a cruise around the bay past the houses of the rish and famous. We did it in the Thriller powerboat which seemed much more fun than the slow cruise - check online/groupon for discounts.

We love the beach at Crandon Park on Key Biscayne and then visit Bill Baggs State Park and have a meal at No Name Harbour which is a restaurant on 'stilts' overlooking the harbour. There is also a lighthouse and lighthouse keeper's cottage and they run guided tours and there are wonderful views over the bay of Miami from the top.

Thank you for including more places to visit, we only have 3 days in Miami and 1 day in Fort Lauderdale before we head to the Keys

We have been x 3 to south Beach. Have done HOHO bus, Pirate duck tours and hired bikes to cycle on South beach boardwalk ( bit like Boris bikes in London)
