Tattoo recommendations
I’m thinking of a couple of smallish cover ups done as a memory before we leave this year - prob too small for the one on city walk but any recommendations? Has anyone done this there?

Personally I wouldn't get a tattoo overseas - even if you're in the US, I'd wait til your home to get one just in case of any health related issues (I know it's very unlikely) you've not got to sort out the bills from US private health care.

I've been following Fallen Sparrow for a while on Instagram... Every single design they upload is phenomenal. They have different artists who specialise in all aspects of tattooing and every one of them seems to be top of their game!

I had mine done at Hart and Huntington, by Adam Natonio. I absolutely love it! He did a brilliant job. Pretty expensive, but we'll worth it for decent work!

Got one for my 30th (twenty years ago) in a place in the Old Town not sure if it is there anymore as didn't get the chance to check last year. I have never had any issues with it (small bumblebee).

I had my first tattoo by Stever Oker, he used to work in the tattoo place in City Walk, but now works in Tampa. I combined it with a trip to Busch Gardens too. Im happy with the work he did. As for the sun issue, I just got mine 2 days before I went home. So it wasnt such a big issue. No regrets thats for sure, and now I have a Florida reminder on me

Also agree. You will have to keep it out of the sun, out of the pool and preferably uncovered by material, so how that works on holiday I don't know. Although if they are cover ups that means you already have ink so you must have considered this?
Neither would I want to get around the above by having it on my last day- the last thing I want on a flight home is a sore, bleeding and ink oozing tattoo that I need to wash every few hours! |
