The things we do for Disney!

I’ve just realised that my FP day is Saturday 2nd March. I think it opens 12 noon UK time so 1300 here. Normally I’m working between 11- 2, so I have contacted various students and changed all the class times. Luckily, they’re all very sympathetic to my needs but isn’t it ridiculous that we do this sort of thing. Come on, who else has changed work or other commitments to fit in ADRs or FPs

Ha ha. Our FP's for May are due to be booked whilst we are there in March.

I have tasked my Son to do them as he is on afternoons so can complete them before he leaves for work.

Our ADR day is this Friday. I have postponed two meetings and taken the day off work. Thankfully Fastpass day is a Sunday.

I am finding over the last 2+ years no issue at all with ADR's. So much so I no longer rush to do them as it seems there is so much availability compared to what it used to be like.

Probably the only exception is the California Grill and a few of the Character places.

I took a day's annual leave for our FP day and managed to get everything I wanted including Slinky and FOP.

I've just checked when I can book my Fastpasses and fortunately it's on a Monday which is my day off.

Last year as we were offsite I had to book them day to day so the days I was in work I took a very late breakfast break, I was absolutely starving by this point but had my priorities right and booked our Fastpasses first.

I’ve taken annual leave for both ADR day & fast pass day, my boss thinks it’s hilarious lol. Goes like this

‘Anything planned for your day off tomorrow rach?’

Oh yeah, have to get my station set up to book my restaurants and try and get an early morning slot for breakfast with chip and dale!

‘I’m sorry, what?! You book breakfast with these people in character suits? They actually turn up when you’re eating? And 6 months advance? I’m so confused’

I’m not asking you to get it love, just as long as you’ve authorised it 😂😂

They just don’t get it do they 🤭😂

I'm quite surprised it isn't a "thing" to choose your holiday dates to fit in with FP booking days

Just realised I should be able to book a few days fp as we have 2 nights onsite. We haven't bought our theme park tickets as yet - can we still book them? I imagine we can as some buy at the gate
