Rooms for 4 at Glasgow airport
We've got an early flight from Glasgow in October and I'm thinking about booking a hotel. I'd prefer the hotel right in front of the airport but it seems that they don't do rooms with 2 beds which seems crazy.
It looks like our options are the Holiday Inn Express and the Courtyard. Can anyone recommend one over the other, or something else very close to the airport? Thanks |

We have stayed in the Normandy before in a family room. It’s £99 B&B with two weeks parking included.
I wouldn’t stay on a Saturday night though as it can be rowdy with tribute nights at the weekend.

Check out the premier inn. They advertise family room and when I stayed last year noticed a lot of families staying. 5 minute walk to the airport.

yep, Premier Inn (and travelodge) family rooms always have 2 beds (often 3, one double and 2x singles although the singles may be trundle beds).

Courtyard by Marriott is walkable, has family rooms and is nice. I've had great prices there but I've also heard of others seeing it for eyewatering sums butworth checking ifthe price is right.
Courtyard was fully renovated about two years ago so everything is in good rider and the the staff were lovely (unusual in an airport hotel) Edited at 11:00 AM. |

The Premier Inn is fine and a 5 minute walk ... avoid the nearby Travel Lodge at all costs.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn directly in front of the airport. I don't think they advertised family rooms but I called them and we had one, it was 2 rooms connected by a short corridor where the bathroom would have been in one of the rooms.

Thanks for all the quick replies! I have a budget of around £100 so the Holiday Inn Express and Courtyard are both options. I hadn’t considered parking so will have a look at where the car parks are. My kids will be 2 and 4 so I’m pretty much looking for the shortest distance possible with kids and luggage!
