We always used to be in the Parks the moment they opened till the end, when they had to push us out. However this year, after quite a few years gap... it was just too much. The Crowds, the queues... just not the same. We always left before closing, we usually had enough by about 3 or 4.

My feet and the children wouldn't be able to cope with park open to close as we go in August. Might be able to manage in cooler months though.

We always used to when we travelled in October or November.

However our last few trips have been in July, August and December so we were either too hot or too cold to stay the whole day. We were often there for opening, left in the middle and returned to finish the night.

We like to we spend as much time in the parks as we can. We usually leave to go and get dinner and come back (or head to another park )
Never have half days by the pool

On our honeymoon we did 5 parks in one day. Wonderful !

My very first trip to WDW was as part of a work trip (we were a group of travel agents). We were guests of Disney so had early entry despite staying in Kissimmee and were dropped off at the Studios with a hopper (and some Disney dollars ) and instructed to do MGM and EPCOT in one day. No other instructions or advice except we had to be in Germany by 6pm for dinner. MGM had opened 13 days earlier so was rammed. Wait time for the backstage tour was 2 hours <eeek> so we broke away from the rest of the group and did the Movie ride and Startours ,had a good wander and a snack ,did a bit of shopping and had some interaction with some characters and then decided to head over to EPCOT. As we were leaving the park we met the rest of the group just coming off the Backstage tour ! We stayed at EPCOT til close ... and had a 6am departure next morning for st Augustine.

Cured of open til close on my very first day at Disney ! We had a blast and I'm glad we did it but never again LOL

I'm surprised that most of the DIBBers who voted have never stayed from opening until close.

We have done it a few times. Although that was somewhat due to staying offsite and using hotel shuttle buses which would drop us off at the beginning of the day and then pick us up after the fireworks. It's a bit tiring but not that bad - and means you get plenty done in a day!

We only do a few park days, so get there about 11am and stay all day, stay till the fireworks and then leave. Now we have done all the parks we wanted to we will only do about 3 on a 14 day holiday, we do what we can and if we miss anything theres always next time!
