What sort of price for 2 weeks Weds October 11th 2017?

Hi,

As the thread says, we have booked direct with Disney for October 2017. 10 nights at CBR with DDP for 2 adults and 2 kids from Weds 11th October. We then plan to move to IDrive. Never been in October before. We would like to fly direct. Any ideas what we should be looking for as a good price for flights? Any help really appreciated!

We fly this Wednesday (12th) and fly back 31st and paid £2400 for direct flights with virgin for 2a and 2c.

I fly this Wednesday 12th for 14 nights and paid about £2000 for 2ad and 2ch.i booked on the 6th January so think it was the sale maybe.

Wow! That's an amazing price. Are you sure for my dates? My dates are a week and a half before most local school holidays start, schools October half term is Monday 23rd October.

We are booked to fly that exact date, wed 11th Oct 2017! We fly from glasgow direct with thomas cook and we're £575pp. We booked it about April this year.
