SSR Housekeeping - Again!

Today was Trash and Towel and as usual Housekeeping forget to leave us the basics.
No coffee, loo roll or tissues.

They did however leave about 20 towels

I only want enough to last until Saturday morning so rang up and asked for 2 loo rolls and some coffee.

The donuts then delivered this lot.

Bit weird giving me dishwasher powder when we are in a Studio. Plus decaf coffee is only any good for cleaning the waste pipes.
They just cannot get the basics right can they

Helen. If my Wife was in charge she would have them working a 20 hour day and doing the job properly.

I actually blame the Supervisors not the staff. Staff just need direction, encouragement and a list of tasks. All coupled with an inspection regime. Get it wrong get money deducted. They wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

Ha ha when I ran nursing homes I had housekeeping and laundry staff
24 hours and kitchen staff 18 hours and every shift had supervisors
But you know I’m a bit like Mrs M with things

Talk about overkill... do you think they were being sarcastic? All hotel coffee is dishwater...yuk!

Good grief and we wonder why housekeeping costs are over $12m a year at SSR!

OKW housekeeping was random like this - they bought towels into room middle of night on our last stay! Uncool.

That's why we love opting out - even then prefer to get stuff we need rather than ask them to bring it - less suprises. We had the same coffee situation - had to take a load home. Oh well...

What is the point of decaf? Or non-alcoholic beer...!

Housekeeping at the Poly have been amazing. Friday we were due a full clean but we came back to our room before the housekeeper had time to service our room. She re-scheduled it for the following day and left us clean towels. Saturday we had full clean and new towels again. Back on schedule now.

SSR the housekeeping really lets them down. we never seem to get housekeeping on the right days

T & T doesn't bother us but I hate when they don't get full housekeeping right

We had the same issue with housekeeping during our stay at the Poly. I think the problem is across the board unfortunately
