It now appears to be nothing more than an international block voting popularity contest with less than nothing to do with singing. The chances of the UK winning are marginally less than the chances of my becoming the next Pope. (I am not even of faith). I also struggle with the gibbering, over dramatic histrionic audience and participants. If that is what being a European is about, then clearly I am not a European. I am not the same as them.. any more than any Israeli, Australian.. or Celine Dion (who once won it for Switzerland in her best Canadian accent). Great video!
