Flights were cheaper or at least had a bit more direct competition from Manchester especially around school holiday times
Park tickets were cheaper Tipping wasn’t getting ridiculously out of hand Alcoholic drinks were cheaper onsite at Disney & Universal It took a bit less to get there & back, I don’t really mind the flight but an hour or two off would be great Immigration queues were quicker
