That's how we looked at it, saving hotel and food for those days on the cruise, it wasn't that expensive...we paid 1100 for 3 nts for 3 of us (plus we didn't shop or spend in parks / need tickets for those days! )

We also did the four night cruise on Navigator of the Seas, and loved it. We booked two interior rooms. One for DSs aged 20 and 18 - they also loved it.
CocoCay was our perfect day - we paid for the coral reef snorkelling adventure. It was fantastic. We also paid for the soft drinks packages for all of us - it was nice to have coke/Fanta/lemonade in the main dining room. We also paid for the WiFi for four gadgets - one each The food in the main dining room was outstanding. Cruises are now on the agenda for future holidays - it was really great. The ice-skating show with drones was amazing. We are fully converted fans of cruising as are the boys.

Thanks again everyone, really feeling like a cruise is definitely the way to go on this one. I have broken the idea to my sister and cousin and they are both very excited about the idea.

After doing Harmony next year I would always choose a cruise over St Pete’s beach now. Coco Key was amazing and I read they are now planning overnight stays 😎
