None whatsoever.
That said, I got one anyway "just in case", even though I knew it was pointless!

Dibbing with Tink
|
We visited in July last year, hired the car in Toronto, visited Niagara & then crossed via the rainbow bridge.
We had one way car hire as we drove down to Newark & left the car there. We booked via national in the end as we struggled to get car hire that would let us do a one way drop that far from Toronto - all of them would let us switch just over the boarder in Buffalo, in case that is any help to anybody else planning a one way hire. We were asked if we had an ESTA - even though not required as entering by land, we did however have one anyway as we’d not originally intended to start the trip in Toronto. It took about 45 minutes for us to be processed, you park the car up & go into the building & sit & wait to be called through. It was all very straightforward. |
