Miami hotels - too many to choose

I have finally booked today to stay at the brand new Comfort Inn and Suites at Mokena Drive near the airport.

Some reviews of other hotels in our budget weren't great so spent a bit extra - we get wifi and free breakfast so will keep the kids happy. We are a group of 8, going to explore Miami beach are the next day then drive over to Naples and gulf coast for 2 weeks.

Thanks for all the recommendations but brand new hotel swung it for me!

I have a strange question... Are there any hotels with a rec room for children? Sister is coming with her son. Just saw this thread and decided not to create a new one because of this little thing.

Another vote here for the Sheraton at the airport. We have stayed twice there now and booked again for August. Very handy if also picking up a car just drive across the road.
