Suitable for vegetarians?
We are a family of 5 ( with a teenage vegetarian) staying offsite end of July. Starting to look at possible meals and restaurants, but struggling to find anything for the vegetarian that is not simply a side salad! Any thoughts and suggestions?

I'm a vegan but some suggestions I've been given are Sweet Tomatoes, Olive Garden, Wholefoods. We've booked a lot of meals onsite at Disney (although I know it's more expensive) as they have loads of meat-free options.

I'm vegetarian and have never struggled in off site restaurants. My favourites are Sweet Tomatoes, Olive Garden, Chuys, Yard House and Cafe Tu Tu Tango

Husband usually picks from the appetiser menu if nothing on the main. Most places do a veggie burger. Pizza places always have veggie options.
Another vote for Sweet Tomatoes, but the plastic bowls and plates knock me sick. Chuy's has a few veggie options. Olive Garden and Bahama Breeze good too.

Look out for impossible brand foods on menus - I just thought “impossible burgers” were the name on the menu and didn’t realise they were a vegetarian brand (like quorn is)

Tons of places who do dishes where they give you the option to choose which protein you want for your dish will usually have the choices of beef or chicken or shrimp or veggies etc.
The main kind of dishes that spring to mind are Pasta, Pizza, Chinese/Thai, Mexican, Burgers etc so any restaurant that does those type of dishes is likely to offer suitable options. I don’t see you having any issues. |
