Mobile Cumbrian Lakes villa

Hi all,

Before I bite the bullet & pay a deposit on a villa can you wonderful people please tell me your opinions on staying at Cumbrian Lakes.

I hadn’t heard of it before but we’ve found a villa we like the look of.

Thank you 😊

It’s always been our area of choice!

We have stayed there 3 times (2008, 2011 and 2016) and I also stayed there twice as a kid; my parents/sister have also gone to villas there 2 or 3 times in recent years.

It’s quiet but still close enough to the Disney parks and various shops/restaurants on the 192 for us. We really like the Lake Buena Vista outlets nearby. It is a bit further from the premium outlets and Universal, but that doesn’t bother us - however if you don’t like driving on the I4 (I know some don’t) that’s a point to be mindful of.

We stayed there prior to buying our villa and loved the area. Very handy for the 192 I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Cumbrian Lakes is a lovely area - close to 192 but it’s still really peaceful.

We love Cumbrian Lakes.

We have a go to rental of a South facing, 5 bed, lake view villa. Watching the wild life while just on a chill day is amazing.

Nice quiet gated community. Easy to get everywhere, and we avoid the I4 for everything.

Plus near a huge Walmart and a smaller but nice Publix and easy 5/10 min drive to the 192 for meals out.

Love Cumbrian Lakes and have stayed in the same villa overlooking a lake. The only reason we haven’t booked for this year is we fancied a change.

Cumbrian Lakes is a really good position for shops and restaurants with the bonus of heading straight up N. Poinciana Boulevard to the outlets avoiding the i4. We'd stay there again happily if the right villa came up (our villa wasn't good and was sold soon after). Also easy access to Disney.

It's the best area in our opinion. Stayed there every year for the past 10 years or so! So close to everything.
